There Is Much

From a morning of reflection.

There is much to learn here.
Some is from the old patterns, that beckon a letting go.
Some is from the newness, so graciously tethered to longer arc.

There are many to love here.
Some are the old ones, living their patterned ways.
Some are the young ones, refreshing and evolving the moment.

There is much to learn here.
There are many to love here.
As it always is.

  1. Love this, sitting today in a plenary I’d rather not be in…😉

    1. Thank you for this “read back” Lisa. I’m glad that it creates added reflection in you. It was an important part of my reflections last week, returning to my hometown for a family wedding.

    1. Me too Moze. Maybe for all of us depending on the circumstance. I notice as I return (roadtrip of 17 hours) that I can feel the busyness creeping in to my mind, the “catching up.” It remains true for me that I hope for the “much to learn” to be gentle. I don’t always feel that. Yet I recognize that it is one of my best guides.

Love the reminder that there is so much to learn, so many to love … always. Always. Always.

There is being “in the moment.”
There is also being “with the always.”

    Thank you.
    As always.

  3. Yes to this deep practice that you continue to name so well Saoirse. And for me, to this principle / invitation — “we become what we practice.” Your words move me today in particular — “with the always.”
