If you’ve been reading for a while, you know that “wander” is a pretty important invitation to me. There’s a lot of nuance that sets up wander. Often, at the core is a deliberate attempt to connect what is inner (all those swirling psyche things) with what is outer (life circumstance, problems, projects, etc). Wander suggests that something other that a straight and hurried line might be most helpful. Lately I’ve been adding a tag to my Wander School materials. “Get somewhere” is shorthand for those inner / outer insights and intuitions.
I’m so glad for the people showing up to Wander School. For all of the Becoming & Belonging (B&B) offerings. For getting somewhere when it’s not a demand. We’re feeding each other well in our varied circumstances.
For this week’s offerings I wrote this below. It’s another way of stating context and purpose. Perhaps it appeals to you too. Jump in as inspired.
One of the things that delights me most
is this journey into the simple and sincere.
As you know, there is alchemy available.
Please come with a situation or circumstance
for which you welcome insight and intuition.
It can be the big stuff,
or another thing that dwells in your heart.
We’ll check-in as we do.
And share some brief context about our respective circumstance.
And then welcome Flow Game Cards to stir the soup.
Come wander. Pretty good chance we’ll get somewhere. That matters. That surprises. That moves it all along.
