What moves you in these pictures?
No wrong answers. Just invitation. Think it. Feel it. Even better, do that and leave a comment.
- What catches your attention?
- Why do you think that might be so?
I took the picture ten days ago. In Bellingham, Washington. On a walk with my Sweetie Dana. And her sibs and their partners. We were strolling. Easy pace.
For me, it was the black of this Crow against blue of Bellingham Bay. It’s the brilliance of color. I seek and appreciate color contrast in my life. Beauty. It’s good to remember what moves the heart.
For me, it was also the expansiveness. Vast bay. Solitary crow. I like to see far. I like bigger picture. It’s often what I’m most excited about in my groups. The bigger vista external and the bigger vista internal.
I believe that the world offers us infinite invitation to create and enjoy meaning. The bridges from a seemingly random, wandery thing to personal aha are also many.
This is what I encourage in my B & B offerings. Wandery aha. Come play. Or come be serious. Preferably both. Come for some blue sky over the bay. Come for some watchful Crow. Or come to find a something new that moves.
Yes, wandery and meandery – I love the slow pace in your pictures and in the ones I took over the weekend. They speak of a more unhurried life.
Yes, yes. What joy to share some wandery!
